This tool helps you transform a standard 8x8 electrical button matrix into a custom physical keyboard layout. It's designed for hand-wiring enthusiasts to plan wire paths and optimize soldering.
Controls:
- Pan: Drag with two fingers (or mouse on empty space).
- Zoom: Pinch with two fingers.
- Selection Box: Drag with one finger on empty space. Blue (L→R) for full inclusion, Green (R→L) for crossing.
- Single Tap: Toggle node selection.
Functions:
- Rotate 180°: Mirrors selected nodes around their center.
- Flip Horizontal: Mirrors selected nodes horizontally (available in Menu).
- Snap to Grid: Aligns nodes to 16px grid for precision.
- Optimize Paths: Reroutes wires to physical nearest neighbors (no cycles).
- Clone Matrix: Creates a copy of the selected node's matrix.
- Reset Selection Position: Re-grids selected nodes based on their current top-left.
- Disable: Bypasses a node in the electrical chain (wires go through it).
